Les formalitées étant ainsi expédiées, passons à la révélation du jour.
J'aime, et j'ai toujours aimé Peter Pan. The Neverland à toujours eu un drôle d'écho en moi, et c'est avec un réel plaisir que j'ai revu une des versions ce soir, et le capitaine Corchet sublimement incarné par Jason Isaacs (mais si, Lucius Malefoy dans Harry Cover) m'as tout simplement donné une réelle inspiration pour un rôle de maquereau que je tiens au théâtre. La comédie en deux facettes, quelle joyeuse invention.
La dernière adaption en date est donc bien Peter Pan, un film de P. J. Hogan qui est vraiment, vraiment bien mené, avec quelques idées scénaristiques qui relèvent du pur génie, notamment la plus importante pour moi: Faire tenir le rôle du père et du Capitaine Crochet par le même acteur... Freudien, n'est il pa s ?
Je passerai assez vite sur Neverland, avec Jonnhy Depp et Kate Winslet, le film en soi est très bien, et mené par deux excellents acteurs, mais ce n'est pas vraiment un film d'auteur, malheureusement. Dommage, dommage.
A vrai dire ce dont je voulais parler, c'était surtout de Hook, ce film de Steven Spielberg avec l'immense Dustin Hoffman dans le rôle titre, et Robin Williams aux commandes d'un Peter Pan plus que majeur et vacciné. N'oublions pas l'inoubliable Bob Hoskins dans le rôle de mouche et la surprenante Julia Roberts dans le role de Tinkle. (Et j'ai encore plein d'autres adjectifs effarants comme ça.)
Je ne saurai vous dire combien de fois, petit, j'ai regardé ce film. Il a bercé mon enfance et je ne peux le revoir sans une minute de nostalgie. (Snurf.)
Mais ce qui est le plus étonnant, c'est tout de même ce salaud de Dustin Hoffman. Quel acteur nom de dieu. Je n'oublierais jamais cette étonnante mimique qu'il fait avec sa lèvre inférieure...
